I am happy that I have been requested to write an after word for this praise worthy book by Mrs. Jinasena, my university colleague, whom I met 58 years ago for the first time at Peradeniya campus. I am in a better position to write this as I have had the opportunity to read through all the previous issues of the present series. With this Mrs. Jinasena has concluded the series while giving a short summery of the series. Her competency in the subject as well as her long teaching experience is the secret behind this grand success.

It is creditable that she has endeavored to show that the Buddha's teachings reached us centuries ago contains remedies for the predicaments human beings are facing, facing today. Retired after long service, she continues to help students which is commendable. Not only for the students this book will be useful to the general readership as well. With the blessings of the Triple Gem, I wish she will continue to help students for many more years.
